Meet Our Instructors
Jeri Bovell
After many years of practicing asana, Jeri attended formal teachers training at the White Lotus Foundation in San Diego, where she was introduced to a deeper appreciation of yoga and holistic practice. She continued to develop her practice under the guidance of Janelle Kroon and Tahnee Fournier of Bliss Living and Yoga, completing their teacher training course in 2013. Jeri is interested in a holistic approach to wellness and she has an everchanging tempo. She continues to teach at Bliss Living and Yoga while pursuing an MSc in Herbal Medicine.
Mirabelle D’Cunha
Mirabelle is a panelist and teacher for Yoga Alliance, the world’s certifying board for yoga teachers. Mirabelle has studied and practiced yoga for 19 years, studying with gurus in the Himalayas and at Mumbai University. She has taught at yoga ashrams and studios in India, the USA, Canada, Bahamas, Bermuda, and the Cayman Islands, and designed and taught corporate breathwork for peak performance and peak relaxation modules. She is also a guest teacher on yoga teacher training on pranayama, bhakti yoga, and the deeper nuances of yoga as a living practice. Mirabelle’s sessions support seekers of joy and compassion to savour the luxury of inner experience and find purpose and joy in life. Working intimately with breath, she provides a loving space for them to unplug from urgency, into deep trust and allowance.
Janine Martins
Cayman-born Janine was at university in Canada when she signed up for a seven-week yoga course. Walking home after her first session she realized that she was smiling ear to ear and more deeply present in the moment than she’d ever felt. She later completed a one-week introduction to yoga at to Bliss Yoga in Cayman and was hooked. Janine then received formal training in yoga and reiki with Tirisula Yoga in Singapore and Bali. Her practice draws on several yoga traditions including hatha, vinyasa, kundalini, yin, and restorative. She particularly enjoys customising those experiences to her clients to help them slow down and to breathe.
Taryn Stein
Taryn is a trained dietician, nutrition, and eating behavior coach, specialising in intuitive/mindful eating and behavioural habit-change. She is also a trained Life Coach with The American Life Coach Academy. Taryn’s approach is based on the science-backed methods of intuitive eating, habit-intervention, and behavioural science. She helps clients to find the root of their unhealthy eating habits and provides tools to help them nourish themselves and to reclaim confidence. She also shares effective and simple ways to integrate these into your daily life to help enable true transformation.
