Meegan Ebanks
Meegan first joined NGCI in 2012 to take up a position in the events department and in 2019, she rejoined as the Head of Business and Facilities, feeling that the role brought together many of her varied skillsets and passions. From this position, Meegan works diligently as a key member of the senior management team to ensure the profitability of the business department and the careful management the NGCI facility, and daily operations.
Meegan brings with her extensive management experience within hospitality industry and creative energy of theatre production, alongside intimate knowledge of NGCI operations and its revenue generation activities, which she worked to expand and diversify during her years with the organisation. Meegan transitioned to the corporate world in 2017 to gain more professional experience, joining a large corporation on island as an Event Manager. During this time, she led a team of 10+ staff, and was responsible for executing a large and varied portfolio of annual events across the diverse organisation. She has extensive experience in leading and developing teams and implementing process improvements and budgeting to ensure controls and profitability. During her time away from NGCI, Meegan remained committed to NGCI through voluntary participation on the annual NGCI Gala Committee.
Meegan has been a creative in the visual and performing arts since a young age, and she is a practicing artist who holds a life-long passion for the arts and developing the appreciation for creatively in her community. Returning to and working for NGCI brings together these two passions and an opportunity to use her skills and make a difference in her community.
