Michael Rhoden
Michael joined the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands in August 2023 as the annual Intern in the Education department. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI), concentrating in management with a minor in marketing. His innovative skills led him to choose a marketing degree that he believes can bring his creative ideas to use within the organisation.
In his spare time, he volunteers with a local dance company (Dreamchasers Cayman), serving as the dance captain and the senior dance instructor. He teaches students of all ages and different levels of dance, such as modern contemporary, hip hop, afro, and dancehall. He also volunteers with the Cayman Islands Regiments (CIR), where he gives back his time to help the Cayman Islands whenever there’s a need for humanitarian or disaster relief. He is one of the Physical Training Instructors (PTI) for the Cayman Islands Regiment and a Fitness Instructor for one of our local gyms (The Club).
Michael describes himself as open-minded and enjoys working in a creative environment that allows him to use his creative skills.
