Patti Jane Ebanks
Patti Jane initially joined NGCI in September 2018 as a Volunteer but was quickly hired as an Administrator in March 2019 to work closely with the education team and to take the lead on providing expert reception cover in the exhibition hall. She has since transitioned to the Business and Facilities department where she works as Events & Retail Coordinator, coordinating and executing a busy calendar of third-party venue rentals and in-house fundraising events, maintaining the gallery’s gift shop and liaising with local artisans.
Prior to joining NGCI, Patti Jane worked in finance, including accounting and audit, and she holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree with a minor in Psychology. Since starting at NGCI she has returned to her first love of art and education.
Patti Jane is extremely passionate about working to preserve the Cayman Islands unique culture and heritage through art education. As a keen amateur artist and member of the education team, Patti Jane works to ensure that there are opportunities to engage with all ages, but she is especially interested in Cayman’s youth and sharing with them how art can be both portrayed and preserved in various forms for generations to come.
