As a part of Beloved Isles exhibition programming – aimed to support artists of the Sister Islands – Alta Solomon and Lisa Reid led a photography workshop event on 8 January at the Cayman Brac Beach resort, which was recently featured on CIGTV. Guests came with the aim to learn more about the exhibition, enhance their photography skills, and learn how to get involved as a Cayman Brac artist. The event began with a tour of “Beloved Isles” by featured artist Alta Solomon, who discussed the overarching themes within the exhibition and highlighted individual works and artists. The tour was followed by a photography workshop by Lisa Reid, another featured artist in the exhibition, where she taught critical photography tips for lighting, composition, portraiture, and much more.
