Red Mangroves I & II
This diptych was created soon after Hurricane Ivan had decimated the mangroves surrounding Mann’s family home in South Sound. The experience affected the artist significantly and subsequently became the inspiration behind much of his work over the following decade. Red Mangroves I & II featured in the NGCI’s Watermarks exhibition in 2005 and Tropical Visions in 2019.
