How Members Help
It’s a fact – without member support the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands (NGCI) would not be where it is today. Members are at the heart of NGCI and every year members provide vital funding to support NGCI’s ambitious exhibition schedule, free public programming, and free admission.
Memberships help us to build and care for the permanent art collection, as well as fund national and regional partnerships that allow greater exposure for Cayman Islands’ artists. Let’s not forget about the National Gallery’s ambitious and bold building project which resulted in a brand-new purpose built facility in 2012. This capital project would not have been possible without the support from community members like you.
Building for the future
This year as the National Gallery celebrates its 20th anniversary we are producing exciting, innovative, and provocative exhibitions and programming to be enjoyed by everyone. We’re hitting the roads this month, thanks to the support from Digicel, and taking “Art on the Road” to every school in the Cayman Islands. This project is being held in conjunction with our new maritime-inspired exhibitions, which welcomed over 200 guests at the exclusive Member’s Review reception.
