Alongside NGCI’s efforts to widen digital access to our exhibitions and collection online, we are launching a new series of Artist Talks to provide a ‘behind the scenes’ look into local artists’ studios, their creative process and their current artistic projects. At a time when NGCI has had to close its doors to the public, we wanted more than ever to connect with some of the creative voices who call Cayman home and give students, members of the public and other aspiring artists insights and inspiration from some of our emerging and established artistic talents. As part of this process, we invited artists to share video footage of themselves and their studio space while answering a number of questions that hopefully unlock a few of the keys to their success, as well as providing some useful tips for members of the community interested in pursuing their own creative projects. These clips will be shared through a series of video blogs on our website and via NGCI’s social media platforms, so be sure to check in with us frequently as we upload additional exciting content over the following weeks.
