Annual Costume Gala
Held on the last Friday of November, the annual gala welcomes 350 guests to the National Gallery gardens for an evening of creativity, jaw-dropping costumes and fundraising. Each year guests are invited to use their imagination to engage with the annual theme.
Big Art Auction
Held in October on a biennial basis, the Big Art Auction seeks to raise funds for the development of the National Gallery Permanent Collection and to support specific NGCI education programming needs during the event year. As the country’s leading visual arts museum, charged with preserving, promoting and fostering Caymanian visual culture, the National Gallery works to achieve its mission through the development, expansion and protection of a National Collection, which is held in posterity for the Caymanian people.
Tea Party
The Tea Party is a highlight of Cayman’s events calendar. Held annually in March in a different private garden each year, the 200 guests are invited to explore the gardens before enjoying a traditional English-style afternoon tea with bubbles and live music. The event is held to raise funds for National Gallery education programmes and to advance its mission of promoting and encouraging the appreciation and practice of the visual arts of and in the Cayman Islands.
