The fourth biennial art exhibition and auction is held in support of the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands’ (NGCI) permanent collection development and related education programmes. Held every other year, the two-week exhibition features work by leading contemporary artists before they are auctioned at a private “Sotheby’s styled” evening event.

This year’s Big Art Auction will see artwork by celebrated local artists Randy Chollette, Nasaria Suckoo Chollette, John Bird, David Bridgeman, Hannah Cook, Kathryn Elphinstone, John Davies, Marc Laurenson, Saba, Mikael Seffer, Gordon Solomon, Kaitlyn Elphinstone, Avril Ward, Joanne Sibley, John Broad, and Horacio Esteban; along with emerging artists Simon Tatum, Brandon Saunders and Wil Bignal.

The exhibition opens to the public Monday, 24 April from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and runs until Thursday, 4 May.  The exhibition will culminate in an elegant, invite-only reception and auction on Thursday, 4 May. If you are interested in coordinating a private viewing or supporting the National Gallery’s Art Fund please email fundraising@nationalgallery.org.ky or call (345) 945 8111.
