Join the NGCI Education Department for free family fun art activities based on the exhibition Mediating Self. Enjoy pop-up art stations and face painting on our breezeway, then explore our exhibitions with self-guided activity sheets, making sure to visit the Idea Lab and snap your own selfie for a chance to be featured as the “portrait of the week”! In our Art Studio, join an art class and learn create your own mixed-media portrait inspired by local artists featured in the show Mediating Self.

Admission to the family day event is free and open to all ages. Art classes run from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and are available on a first-come first-served basis as space is limited to 20 students.
