School Tours of the Temporary Exhibition Revive
02:00 pm-10:00 pmDescription
The National Gallery offers primary and secondary schools the chance to gain full access to the temporary exhibitions by touring the premises with skilled and experienced NGCI staff. Exhibitions cover a wide variety of themes and media and they can be used to enrich learning in every area. Moreover, a visit to the NGCI teaches students and adults how to interpret art and connects them to traditional Caymanian cultural heritage. Tour guides also demonstrate how art in all forms can link with other curriculum subjects, and with their own experiences. Each tour is accompanied by an interactive worksheet devised for both primary and secondary level students.
Free student tours of the temporary exhibition Revive – Contemporary Caymanian Craft can now be booked through the NGCI Education Department at education@nationalgallery.org.ky.
