Every week the National Gallery relies on the support of our fabulous volunteers, many of whom have been faithfully lending their support for years pitching in at events, managing our library, acting as art class assistants, supporting membership and office administration, and covering the exhibition hall reception. Before a volunteer can get started they must attend one of these induction session, along with one of our volunteer training session.

The next Volunteer Induction and Curator Tour is scheduled for 12 February 2019, starting at 5.30pm.

The evening will include:

• 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm – new volunteer induction and orientation
• 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm – curator tour of permanent collection
• 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm – curator tour of new temporary exhibition (lower exhibition hall and Dart auditorium)

Past and present volunteers and those considering signing up to become an NGCI volunteer are welcome to attend this session.
