Volunteer’s Training Series: NGCI 101
05:30 pm-06:30 pmDescription
The National Gallery relies on the help and support of our generous volunteers who fill a variety of tasks on a regular basis, including exhibition hall greeters and event and programme supporters. To ensure all those filling these important positions feel informed about the work of the National Gallery and how the organisation fits into the Cayman community, we will be running a series of monthly training sessions for all those signed up as current volunteers and who would like to attend.
The series will start with NGCI 101 on 3 October at 5:30 pm, where you will learn about the team, the programmes currently running and how we are working every day to further our mission of promoting the appreciation and practice of the visual arts of and in the Cayman Islands.
Other upcoming sessions within the Volunteer Series will include:
NGCI within a Cayman Cultural Context – Wednesday, 17 October 2018, 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Cayman Art History – Wednesday, 21 November, 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Museum Education – TBC
Curating and Exhibition Development – TBC
New volunteers coming on board will be required to attend a minimum of one session and complete an induction and orientation before starting.
