Rotating between the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands (NGCI) two satellite exhibition venues at the Cayman Brac Beach Resort and the Little Cayman Museum, this exhibition of photographic works by forty-one local artists captures the unique environments and people of the Sister Islands. Collectively the images depict the natural landscapes, endemic species, expansive seascapes, historic architecture and the traditions of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. The project was developed to celebrate our ‘land of soft, fresh breezes’, which provides a source of endless inspiration to our many talented artists.
The National Gallery is proud to partner with the Cayman Islands Legacy Fund, the Cayman Brac Beach Resort and the Little Cayman Museum for another iteration of NGCI’s Travelling Exhibitions Programme. Adding to our existing Sister Islands schedule, which includes the weekly Walkers Art Club (for primary school students) and the bi-monthly EY Senior’s Art Talks, the exhibition will be supported by a complementary programme of special events and related activities.
